Public Art Installation
In art school, my cousin had to create a piece of public art. Because
she took public transit to and from school, she grew to resent the
number of commercial messages on the subway. So she made her own
billboards. Silly me, I offered to help with installation. We dodged
surveillance cameras and transit cops. I felt alive. (Name withheld,
