Wild domesticity
I can't stand paying for fruit smoothies at the store. This summer
we picked blueberries, strawberries and found some cherries at a
locally-owned fruit stand. The best strawberries of all came from
our own garden. So juicy, so sweet. Several ice-cream pails full!
Now I taste the summer every time I grind myself a smoothie. (Karen,
